Two pedestrians hit by SEPTA bus, 1 dead in South Philadelphia

A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after being hit by a SEPTA bus while crossing the street in South Philly on Friday. Police said the two pedestrians were husband and wife. The incident happened before 7 p.m. at Front Street and Washington Avenue. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
