PIAA sanctions girls' flag football as varsity sport
The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Inc. (PIAA) sanctioned flag football for girls as an official varsity championship sport. One hundred high schools across Pennsylvania will participate when competition begins next school year.
