Philadelphia Zoo expanding Bear Country; $20 million project opening in 2026
The Philadelphia Zoo has announced a $20 million expansion that you'll "bearly" believe.
The zoo plans to break ground on an expanded Bear Country exhibit in 2025.
The improvements include an exploration trail for the bears to rotate through all the habitats, new glass viewing areas and water features. The plan is to have things open by 2026.
