News reporter jumps in water to celebrate Philadelphia pools opening
Philadelphia started opening its public pools on a rolling basis starting on June 17, with a few more opening each day around the city until 60 are up and running. Howard Monroe was at the Penrose Pool in North Philadelphia to celebrate its opening. We also hear from Anne Marie Dunne, the deputy commissioner of the city's Parks and Recreation department, about the massive undertaking to get all these pools open.
