New Jersey state trooper who died was training for elite team, officials say
New Jersey State Trooper Marcellus Bethea died Sunday while training at NJSP headquarters in Ewing, New Jersey, officials said. Bethea was training to an elite unit within the force, according to New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin.
