Motorcycle officer struck and injured in Upper Darby, Drexel Hill
An Upper Darby motorcycle officer is struck and injured by a driver, suspected to be under the influence of drugs.
It happened just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Owen Avenue and Garrett Road in Drexel Hill.
Police took that driver into custody.
The officer suffered multiple fractures in his leg and will require surgery.
