Governor Phil Murphy tours North Wildwood's beach restoration project
Emergency repairs to restore the shore in North Wildwood. Sand is being pumped from the ocean and onto the beach to replenish what has been lost to severe erosion.
Governor Phil Murphy toured the work being done Friday afternoon and said the potential negative economic impact on the summer season is what led to the emergency project.
