Freshwater mussels found in the Delaware River
Environmental groups say that freshwater mussels have been found in the Delaware River.
Those groups held a press conference in Pennypack Park Friday to make the announcement.
They say mussels are a key indicator of water quality because they are sensitive to pollution.
