90 people charged over alleged SNAP benefits fraud in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania officials announced Tuesday that they charged 90 people with fraud related to SNAP benefits cases in April and May of 2024. The state reportedly lost more than $700,000 due to the fraud, where people either misrepresented themselves to get assistance or trafficked the assistance they received.
