The 31st annual Tour de Shore 65-mile bike ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City will take place this Sunday.
About 2,500 people rode their bikes from the Irish Pub at 20th and Walnut Streets to the Irish Pub in Atlantic City as part of the 29th Annual Tour de Shore.
The 28th annual Tour de Shore raised $820-thousand for the nonprofit Irish Pub Children's Foundation.
Overcast skies didn't dampen the enthusiasm of over 2,000 bikers helping to raise money for charities that help the children of fallen firefighters and police officers.
Police say they have taken a suspect into custody in connection with the theft of some high-end bicycles that were stolen from a storage area at the Irish Pub in center city.
Police also say several bikes have been recovered.
Police in Philadelphia continue to search for the suspect or suspects responsible for stealing 15 bicycles following the Tour De Shore charity ride on July 28.
