A Peco spokesman reports power went out Tuesday morning, shortly after 11:15am.
Atlantic City Electric reports that the number of outages are now reduced to just under 200 customers.
PECO is reporting close to 600 customers are in the dark at this hour in the five counties.
According to PECO, 4,000 customers in Doylestown/New Hope and north are in the dark.
