"It may take days or weeks to arrive at a finding, and it may not even be a consequential part of the broader case. But when you find the critical nugget that helps 'crack the case,' it's an awesome and rewarding 'high-five' moment," says Philip Hagen.
"Learning how to prioritize and how to self-direct also are incredibly important. There are so many things to do in a day, you need to determine what truly needs to be done and make sure it actually gets done," says Dr. Buskirk-Cohen.
