Three Philadelphia officers are on administrative duty in connection with fatally shooting two dogs in separate incidents that are about a week apart, authorities said in a release on Friday.
Authorities said the mother and child "had sustained serious injuries from the dog." The baby was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened on Sepviva Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
