Alec Baldwin pleaded not guilty to a refiled manslaughter charge stemming from the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film "Rust."
Prosecutors said in October they were seeking to re-charge Alec Baldwin in the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust."
Baldwin has denied pulling the trigger of the prop gun that fired on the "Rust" set in 2021, killing the film's cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins.
The arrest of Rex Heuermann in connection to the Gilgo Beach murders is "mind-boggling," the actor said.
Last month, special prosecutors in New Mexico confirmed they were dropping involuntary manslaughter charges that had been brought against Baldwin.
Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed in the 2021 shooting.
Baldwin entered the plea Thursday and waived his first court appearance, which had been scheduled for Friday.
Alec Baldwin still faces charges of involuntary manslaughter in the deadly shooting on the set of his film "Rust" in 2021.
Baldwin has maintained his innocence since the shooting happened on the set of the movie "Rust."
Similar charges were formally filed against the film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.
