Wrestling Legend Mick Foley To Compete In 94WIP's Wing Bowl 23
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Retired American professional wrestler, author, comedian, color commentator, actor, voice actor, and producer of the 2014 documentary film 'I Am Santa Claus' (directed by 94WIP's own Tommy Avallone), Mick Foley, will compete in SportsRadio 94WIP's Wing Bowl 23, Angelo Cataldi announced Tuesday on the 94WIP Morning Show.
"Ladies and gentleman it is an enormous honor to be able to introduce to you, a man who will be attending his first Wing Bowl on January 30th, Wing Bowl 23," Cataldi said. "A man who has established himself as one the great entertainers of this generation, both as a superstar in wrestling and as a motivational speaker, and as a actor, and as every other thing---a documentarian and a producer---ladies and gentleman the great Mick Foley is on the line!"

"Just to make things simple, when I bring home this championship I already have the papers signed, I'm officially changing my last name to 'Wing Bowl,'" Foley joked on Tuesday.
Foley, the three-time WWE champion and WWE Hall of Fame member, admitted he'll be Philly's biggest underdog since Rocky.
"Perhaps I will even wear black converse and my Rocky robe signed by [Sylvester] Stallone for this endeavor," Foley said. "They've [Philadelphia fans have] always accepted me with open arms and win, lose, or draw, they know that I'm not going down without a fight."
Foley will also be appearing post Wing Bowl at Sugar House Casino and will be doing a signing at Sports Vault at the King Of Prussia Mall on Saturday, January 31st, 11am – 12:30pm.
