Wounded Chester County Police Officer Seeks Justice
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Nearly one year after Corporal Timothy Hubbard was shot on a darkened Chester County highway in East Goshen, the 13 year veteran tells Eyewitness News about the terrifying moments as he was shot, almost point-blank, through his left hand.
Hubbard had stopped his patrol car near the intersection of East Strasburg Road and Ridley Creek Lane around 11:25 p.m. on January 10, 2010 to investigate a woman who appeared to be in danger, arguing with a man.
Suddenly, an attacker with his gun in hand, ran toward Hubbard and luckily the officer was able to brush the weapon aside, just as two shots rang out piercing his left hand.

The wounded officer retreated to his car as the suspect and woman jumped into early 1990's model Honda Accord, with a Delaware Tags and took off.
As the third anniversary of the shooting neared, Chester County investigators are hoping a $30,000 reward will produce information leading to an arrest.
At a press conference held Thursday afternoon, they displayed a composite sketch, along with a distinctive baseball cap and shirt worn by the suspect.
Cpl. Hubbard has now returned to work on light-duty status, working to regain full use of two injured fingers and hoping to return to full duty.
Detectives, who have received 150 tips over the past year hope anyone with information will call the citizens crime commission hotline at 215-546-TIPS.
