World War II Veteran And Founder Of Delaware Valley Veterans' Home Posthumously Inducted Into Home's Hall Of Fame
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was an emotional day at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. A World War II veteran and original founder of the home was posthumously inducted into the home's Hall of Fame.
Family and friends attended the induction ceremony for Edward "Slim" Comly.
Following his service in the Army, Comly helped found the American Legion Post 810 and the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home.
Comly passed away in 2012 at the age of 87.
