Worker Injured After Falling From Lift At Navy Yard
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene of an industrial accident Monday morning at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. along the 4900 block of South 16th Street.
Authorities say a 27-year-old construction worker was injured when he fell from an industrial scissor lift.
The victim was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
