Woman Stuck, Killed By SEPTA Train In Hatboro

HATBORO, Pa. (CBS) -- According to SEPTA officials, a woman was struck and killed by a train in Hatboro, Montgomery County Tuesday evening.

Hatboro Police responded to the scene near the railroad tracks between Meadowbrook Avenue and E. Montgomery Avenue at about 7:45 p.m. to find a 31-year-old female.

Authorities are withholding the victim's identity pending notification of her family.

Train service was interrupted on the Warminster Line for several hours.

Service was restored around 10:00 p.m.

This incident remains under police investigation.
