Woman Stabbed Multiple Times During North Philadelphia Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating an early morning home invasion during which a female victim was stabbed multiple times.
The incident happened shortly after midnight in the 1000 block of W. Arizona Street in North Philadelphia.
According to investigators, a suspect broke into the home and stabbed a 33-year-old woman inside the home. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the face, neck and arms. She was taken to Temple University Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
Investigators say the suspect ran out of the home after stabbing the victim. It was not immediately known what, if anything, the suspect stole from the home.
The incident remains under police investigation.
