Woman Recovering At Area Hospital After Hit-Run Accident In Port Richmond
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 40-year-old woman is recovering at an area hospital after she was struck by a car in the city's Port Richmond neighborhood Saturday evening, police said.
The accident happened near Frankford and Glenwood avenues around 6:30 p.m. Authorities are searching for the driver who they say struck the woman then drove off.
The victim suffered deep bruises to her face and was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released a description of the vehicle involved at this time. The investigation continues.
