Woman Killed In Fiery Garden State Parkway Crash
EGG HARBOR, N.J. (AP) — A female is dead following a fiery two-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Egg Harbor Township.
State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman says the preliminary investigation indicates a Mercedes-Benz and a Honda were heading north when the Mercedes hit the other vehicle, which caught fire Tuesday morning.
Grossman says the female driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Grossman says the male driver of the Mercedes sustained minor injuries.
No names have been released and the accident remains under investigation.
The northbound lanes near mile marker 38 have reopened.
