Woman Found Stabbed To Death In Wilmington
WILMINGTON, DEL. (CBS) -- - Police in Wilmington, Delaware have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death during a domestic dispute.
It happened around 11:00 p.m. Friday in the 900 block Vandelor Avenue.
Authorities say the man stabbed his 47-year-old girlfriend multiple times in the torso and then waited until the next morning to contact police.
Arriving officers found the woman dead inside the home. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The names of the victim and suspect have been withheld pending further investigation and notification of next of kin.
Charges are pending.
