Woman Fatally Shot In Summerdale
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a man critically wounded in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday morning.
The shooting happened at about 2:30 a.m. at the corner of Langdon and Anchor Streets in the city's Summerdale section.
Investigators say the female victim suffered two gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in critical condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
The exact details surrounding the deadly shooting were not immediately known.
There is no word on a possible motive and the gunman remains on the loose.
