Woman Fatally Shot In Riverton
RIVERTON, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities in Burlington County, New Jersey are investigating a fatal shooting.
Prosecutor Robert Bernardi says a woman was found shot to death on Carriage House Lane near Lippincott Avenue in Riverton shortly before 5:30 Sunday morning. Her identity has not been released.
The county medical examiner is performing an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
No arrests have been made and police are asking for the public's help in determining what happened. Anybody with information is asked to call Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.
