Woman Dead, Two Others Critical In Trenton Triple Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Trenton police say a woman was killed and two people were wounded when shots rang out at a city apartment complex.
The victims were among several people attending a party Saturday night at the Rowan Towers apartment complex on West State Street.
Witnesses say a car drove by and someone inside the vehicle started shooting. The car then stopped and the occupants got out and fired several more shots into the crowd before fleeing.
The woman, whose name has not been released, died early Sunday at a hospital. A man and a woman wounded in the shooting remained hospitalized Sunday, but further details on their conditions were not disclosed.
A motive for the shooting remains unknown.
The slaying is Trenton's 17th homicide of 2013.
