Woman Arrested At Philadelphia International Airport Over Flight Threats
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A woman was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday after investigators allege she made threatening comments on board an incoming flight.
The California woman was taken into custody at about 4 p.m. Wednesday after a US Airways flight attendant complained the woman made threats on a flight arriving from London.
The woman, identified by police as Hannah Shiner, allegedly made references to 9/11, terrorists and investigators say she threatened to blow up the plane.
It was not immediately known what prompted or provoked Shiner's outburst.
Philadelphia police charged Shiner with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
Shiner is being held by authorities pending further legal action.
