WinterFest Ice Skating Rink Opens At Cooper River Park In Camden County
PENNSAUKEN, N.J., (CBS) -- The grand opening weekend celebration is underway at WinterFest Ice Skating Rink at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, Camden County.
A tree lighting, opening ceremony and ice skating show were held Friday night.
During opening weekend, which runs Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 29, the festival will provide free carousel and carriage rides.
Soft pretzels, hot chocolate and other treats are also for sale.
After the three day opening event, the Winterfest Ice Skating Rink will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturdays, the rink will be open from noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays, from noon to 9 p.m.
Children four years of age and younger will be admitted onto the ice for free. There is a $3 admission fee for kids 5 to 12. There is a $5.00 admission fee for those 13 years and older and a $3.00 skate rental fee for all ages.
WinterFest Ice Skating Rink will be open Friday. Nov. 27, 2015 and run until Valentine's Day, February 14, 2016.
