Wing Bowl 23 Champ Sets New Record
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Wings, beer, and total debauchery. Wing Bowl 23 came and went.

SportsRadio 94WIP's Mardi Gras themed Wing Bowl 23 got underway Friday morning at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia. A sold out crowd, once again, was on-hand for Philly's biggest party of the year hosted by Angelo Cataldi, Al Morganti, and the 94WIP Morning Show.

"Stormin Norman" was the college competition champion.
Wrestling legend and world-class entertainer Mick Foley competed in the event, but was kicked out for hiding wings in his fanny pack with a little over one minute remaining in the first-half.
Wing Bowl 22 champion Molly Schuyler, who ate a record 363 chicken wings, ate 440 wings this year but it was not enough. Schuyler was upset by Patrick Bertoletti who ate a new record 444 wings!
"Ladies and gentleman in Wing Bowl 23, closest ever, the winner of Wing Bowl 23 and NEW CHAMPION is Patrick Bertoletti!" Cataldi announced.
For the third straight year the Commissioner of Wing Bowl is Eagles long-snapper Jon Dorenbos.
Retired Naval Petty Officer, 1st Class, Generald Wilson brought the house down with his rendition of the National Anthem.
