Window Washer Rescued After Scaffolding Gives Way 12 Stories Up
KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. (CBS) -- A window washer is lucky to be alive after his scaffolding gave way Thursday afternoon.
The man was cleaning the windows 12 stories up at the Grand Bay resort in Key Biscayne, Florida, when the scaffolding failed.
88-Year-Old Fitness Instructor Has No Plans Of Slowing Down
He was wearing safety equipment that kept him attached to the building as help arrived.
It took crews nearly an hour to get to him.
