Wilmington Man Arrested For Allegedly 'Littering' Drugs
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- A Wilmington man is facing charges after officers observed him littering and found that the object he had dropped was drugs.
Wilmington Police Officers Antonio Tiberi and Patrick Bartolo were on patrol in the 300 block of Connell Street when they observed Javier Kaminski, 18, littering. The officers stopped Kaminski and noticed the object he had dropped was a bag of crack cocaine. Officers also recovered eight bags of heroin in Kaminski's pocket.
Kaminski has been charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, loitering for a drug related activity and unlawful dumping or littering.
He was arraigned at the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. He was later released after posting $3,500 unsecured bond.
