Wilmington Man, 74, Accused Of Exposing Himself In Kohl's Parking Lot
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – An elderly man was arrested after police say he exposed himself two times in the parking lot of a department store in Delaware.
The incident happened at about 4:20 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Kohl's Department Store on Rocky Run Parkway in Wilmington.
Rodney A. Brown, 74, was arrested by Delaware State Police after he was allegedly observed exposing himself by two store employees of Kohl's.
The incident began when a 30-year-old female employee observed a male sitting in a car in the parking lot of the store with his genitals exposed as she walked past.
The female, who is employed in the store's Loss Prevention Department, was then contacted by a second female employee of the store, who advised her that she had also observed the same man in the parking lot with his genitals exposed.
The 30-year-old then called police. Troopers arrived and took Brown into custody without incident. Authorities say Brown, who was sitting in his car when Troopers arrived, still had his pants down at the time of his arrest.
He has been charged with two counts of indecent exposure 2nd degree, lewdness and disorderly conduct and released on $2,000 unsecured bail.
