Willingboro Man Indicted For Murdering Gas Station Attendant
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Willingboro man has been indicted for murdering a gas station attendant during a robbery, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi announced Wednesday.
Zedrick T. Johnson, 35, was indicted on one count of Murder, one count of Felony Murder, and one count of Robbery in connection with the beating death of a gas station attendant during a robbery at the Lukoil Gas station on Route 130 in Willingboro on February 11 (see related story).
Johnson was also indicted for Robbery for allegedly holding up a Willingboro convenience store on Vansciver Parkway on February 12. That indictment was returned October 24.
Johnson was arrested February 22 in a house in the 100 block of North 23rd Street in Camden after a 12-day manhunt (see related story).
Johnson remains jailed on $1 million bail. An arraignment will be scheduled soon in Superior Court in Burlington County.
