Will New Jersey Governor Christie Seek Re-Election In 2013?

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) – Political observers in New Jersey had expected to know by now whether Governor Chris Christie would seek re-election next year. Then came Hurricane Sandy which has caused Christie to put that decision, and others, on the back burner.
It's all a matter of what the Governor calls "bandwidth" right now, and he's so caught up in dealing with the hurricane aftermath that he's given little thought to anything else; including his own political future.
"Maybe I'll wake up three or four weeks from now and decide I'm gonna do it or I'm not gonna do it, and then I'll just tell you when I make that decision," Christie says.
Christie has often said he doesn't make up his mind on things until he has to. As for next year's gubernatorial race, it's no surprise that no Republican has even hinted at an interest in challenging Christie.
Several Democrats, however, are believed to be quietly testing the waters.
Among them are Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Cherry Hill Assemblyman Lou Greenwald.
