What's Next For The Sixers?
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It has been an interesting offseason for the Sixers.
First there was an extended period of silence after Sam Hinkie was hired as GM. Then a very busy draft night that saw the team's best player (Jrue Holiday) traded and several young prospects brought in, including Michael Carter-Williams (first round draft pick) and Nerlens Noel (trade).
Since that however, the Sixers have gone quiet again, with only a some minor moves involving former Houston Rockets players pinging on the radar.
And oh yeah, they still don't have a head coach. In fact, the Sixers are the only team in the NBA without a head man right now.
So what's next?
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily news about the Sixers offseason and where they go from here.
