What's Cooking on 1060: Tomatoes, Salmon, and a Mosaic Mural
By Hadas Kuznits
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Seafood Unlimited, near 20th and Spruce Streets, has just reopened with an updated menu, a bigger bar, and an expanded, custom mosaic by famed Philadelphia artist Isaiah Zagar.
"We were fortunate enough to have Isaiah do a mosaic for us 11 years ago, and we've since moved around some of the equipment, which opened up a whole canvas for him to do even more in. It's very seafood themed -- I think it's one of his best works!" says co-owner David Einhorn.

Over at Kris, 1100 Federal Street in South Philadelphia, owner Kris Leuzzi hosts a specialized meal from Labor Day through mid-September.
"It's a celebration of the Jersey tomato, where we have four courses for $24," he tells KYW Newsradio.
-----
Leuzzi says he's always loved the tomato.
"Living in Philly and having a house down the shore in South Jersey, my parents always grew Jersey tomatoes, so it was a staple on the table no matter what we did -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner pretty much."

And at Ella's American Bistro in Wayne, Pa., chef Chad Jajczyk is starting up cooking classes, with his first session on August 28th called, "Salmon 3 ways."
"It is a preparation of salmon in different ways," he explains. "We'll be going over smoking techniques, curing techniques, some sauteeing, actually physically seeing the fish and explaining how to clean it, how to prepare it, also some mousses, some different ways that may be not normal at home but showing how easy they can be."
