PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) -- Anthony Mascieri, who owns a Plenty Café on East Passyunk Avenue, has opened a second location, at 1602 Spruce Street in center city.

"Our whole theme is globally inspired," he tells What's Cooking. "I've been very fortunate to travel to a lot of different places all over the world, and I sort of wanted to bring some of those experiences with me.  So each salad or sandwich or item is sort of inspired by a different place that I've been."

Also, the Creative Café at Replica is now open at 3711 Market Street, in University City.  Brand manager Keith Leaphart (below) says the design and printing firm now has  a gourmet coffee bar and food from Di Bruno Brothers.

-----

"The good thing is, the counter you go to for coffee is not the counter you go to for your print and your design," he says.

(Kuznits:)  "That's good!  You don't want to get coffee on your design."

(Leaphart:)  "No, you don't want to do that."

And, this Sunday afternoon, Davio's, in center city, hosts its third annual Gingerbread House Workshop for children of all ages, to benefit the "Operation Homefront" charity.

Restaurant manager Mark Aquilino describes the room after the chaos:

"There's candy everywhere!  The chairs in the dining room tend to get the icing all over them, there's candy all over the place."

(Kuznits:)  "What's the craziest place you've ever had to scrape royal icing from?"

(Aquilino:)  "Our red wine cabinet.  I think maybe some of the children had a little bit of a food fight (last year), but that's okay -- that means they were really getting into it."
