What To Look For In Eagles/Cowboys Sunday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It will be a big test for the Eagles on Sunday night as they head down to Texas and meet up with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles are 4-2 and coming off their impressive 21-10 win over Minnesota last weekend. Dallas is 5-1, alone in first place in the NFC East and coming off a bye week.
The Eagles will be without defensive tackle Bennie Logan in this one. He will miss his second straight game with a groin injury. His absence could be key against a Dallas offense that loves to run the ball and does so effectively. The Cowboys actually lead the NFL in rushing at 161.2 yards per game.
These division rivals split their two match-ups last season. Dallas won at the Linc in Week #2 of 2015, 20-10. The Birds got revenge down in Texas, beating the Cowboys in Week #9, 33-27. Sam Bradford threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews in the extra session to win that one.
