What To Do In Philly On Halloween
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There's lots to do in Philadelphia for Halloween weekend.
Randi Edelman (photo) with Trust at 3rd and Arch Streets says you can kick off Halloween on Friday, October 29th with the opening of their free Halloween themed exhibit featuring two local artists:
"The first is Shawn Dubin and he's a very Tim Burton-style comic book illustrator; and the other artist is Harry Boardman and he has a series that's called 365 monsters."
Ilana Waber (photo below) with Rittenhouse Row says Saturday is trick or treating day on Rittenhouse Square:
"We start the morning off with the annual Halloween celebrations at the shops at Liberty Place. It's a big party, there's music, kids activities, and there's a costume contest and everyone gets their maps, their Rittenhouse Row trick or treat bags and then everyone leaves and goes out into the Rittenhouse area for the trick or treating."
Later, head back to Trust:
"Saturday is going to be just a fun Halloween party; $40 open bar, really great time for adults to come down to TRUST."
On Sunday, there will be trick or treating in Old City with merchants distributing candy.
