West Chester Police: More Arrests Possible For Flipped Car

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say more arrests are possible after a huge street party Saturday near West Chester University during which a car was flipped on its side (see related story). A video of the wild scene has been widely distributed.
Authorities say about 500 young people were gathered in the 400 block of South Walnut Street in West Chester when police moved in to disperse the crowd after getting several complaints.
The revelers, who'd paid a $15 cover charge to get into the party, turned rowdy, chanting and refusing to leave. Some jumped on vehicles, and turned one parked car on its side.
Police made two arrests.
West Chester police say investigators are reviewing the video and interviewing witnesses to determine if more charges are warranted.
In a statement, West Chester University says it's cooperating with the investigation, and, if it's determined that any students "have engaged in behavior not consistent with the code of conduct," disciplinary action will be taken.
