West Chester Man Arrested On Multiple Counts Of Child Sexual Assault
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – West Goshen Township police have arrested a West Chester man for sexually assaulting a child.
Jonathan Paul Day, of 504 Emily Circle in West Chester, was arrested after an investigation revealed that he had assaulted a child who was being cared for by his mother on numerous occasions at his house, the victim's residence and in a vehicle owned by his mother.
The assaults were reported to have happened about six years ago, though the victim just disclosed them recently.
Day has been charged with three counts each of Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, Attempted Indecent assault of a child less than 13, Aggravated assault of a child less than 13 and Attempted aggravated assault of a child. He was arraigned before District Justice William Kraut and released on 10% of 25,000 bail.
