Wells Fargo Center Named Third Most Vegetarian Friendly NBA Arena
By Spike Eskin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – In what's been an otherwise terrible Sixers season, at least we can be pleased to know the vegetarians in the arena have enough options.
PETA named its top ten most vegetarian friendly NBA arenas, and the Wells Fargo Center was ranked third.
When Andrew Bynum will suit up for the Sixers remains a mystery, but one thing is certain: Fans looking for delicious, animal-friendly fare have come to the right place. Veggie dogs, two kinds of veggie burgers, and roasted butternut squash soup round out a starting lineup of vegetarian superstars that give Philly fans plenty to cheer about.
The home of the Sixers trails only the Staples Center and the Air Canada Centre in terms of vegetarian friendliness.
Maybe the Sixers are all vegetarians and the paint in the lane is made of bacon. Maybe Doug Collins is a vegetarian and Dorell Wright is ... ah forget it. The Sixers stink. Let's go get a veggie dog.
