Welcome America Gets Off With a Bang

The Fourth of July celebration in Philadelphia got a bit of an early start this year with a free concert and fireworks extravaganza at Penn's Landing.
"All the fireworks are colorful."
That's Justin from Brooklyn, NY. He and his sister Taylor are thankful that their mother brought down for the show:
"The colors are just so beautiful, and they're just so big in the sky."
It was the first of three fireworks shows scheduled for the Welcome America celebtation. The dazzling display was preceded by a performance by Morris Day and The Time who fans say looked as good as ever.
Food was also a major attraction of the day with the Taste of Philadelphia. Taylor went with an all-time great:
"We had Philly cheese steaks."
(Dougherty:) "Do they make them like that in New York."
"No. No. No."
