Week Of Wild Weather Continues With Round 2 Of Snow, Ice And Rain

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--This wild week of wintry weather continues. Round one yesterday and round two is just a few hours away. Our next storm will bring it all: Snow, Ice & Rain. This triple threat will bring many problems and this time location is everything.
A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect overnight for most of the region and a Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect overnight for central DE and Southern and Eastern NJ. In addition to hazardous travel Wednesday morning, significant icing of .25-.5" could take down tree limbs and power lines especially in our far NW suburbs and the Lehigh Valley.
Here is what we expect by region:
Southern NJ/DE
(Around 1" of rain)
11PM - 1AM: Storm starts as a brief period of Ice and changes to Rain
1AM - 1PM: Heavy Rain
After 1PM: Rain Tapers, Gradual Clearing
Philadelphia/Adjacent Suburbs
(Up to .10" of Ice expected before the change to rain)
12AM - 2AM: Storm starts as period of snow changing quickly to Sleet and Freezing Rain
2AM - 6AM: Ice to Heavy Rain (change from South to North)
6AM - 1PM: Heavy Rain
After 1PM: Ran Tapers, Gradual Clearing
Lehigh Valley & Far NW suburbs
(Snow 4-6" followed by .25-.5" of Ice)
12AM - 2AM: Snow Arrives
2AM - 6AM: Snow changes to Sleet and Freezing Rain
6AM - 1PM: Significant Icing
After 1PM: slowly clearing

(Snow 6-10")
12AM - 1PM: Heavy Snow
