Wednesday's Child:   Nakiyah

By Larry Kane
Produced by Timothy McLaughlin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  We've introduced you to her younger brother, Elijah, and her twin, Nehemiah.

Today we meet Nakiyah (at left in top photo), a 12-year-old with a big personality.

"Nakiyah, she's the leader of the crew," says her adoption recruiter, Ciara Carlton.  "Although she's the younger twin, she will put them in line quick (laughs)."

----

Nakiyah says her brothers mean a lot to her.

"A family is a whole bunch of people that care about you and that love you," she says, adding, "We play and we support each other.  We give each other love."

When she's not keeping tabs on her brothers, you can see Nakiyah on the running track, where she's training for the big time.

(Kane:)   "Will I see you at the Olympics someday?"
"Maybe," she replies shyly.

But most of all, Nakiyah says, she wants a forever family who can cheer her on.
