Wednesday's Child: Kcajjahn

Kcajjahn is an outgoing, creative seven-year-old who loves painting and watching superhero movies.

"I would like to be Batman," he says.  "I would help somebody if they were falling and hit their head.  I would help them."

Kcajjahn's social worker, Ebony Roary, says Kcajjahn, with his glowing smile, makes friends everywhere he goes:

"You know, he likes to laugh and tell jokes, so he's a very friendly kid.  He's easy to get along with, very smart in school. He just told me he picked up his report card today: all A's and B's -- so he's performing well academically."

This young man has faced a lot of challenges, but Gloria Hochman of the National Adoption Center in Philadelphia says Kcajjahn (pronounced "kuh-john") has a lot of hope for his future.

"He's been through a lot in his early years, but he really has hope that he can find a family who will love him and take care of him and that he can give love to," says Hochman.
