Wednesday's Child: Jamie
By Larry Kane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Name a sport, any sport, and Jamie will tell you he loves playing it. He has so much energy that he compares himself to his favorite animal:
"The main animal that I like -- and since I'm trying to be like that animal every day, that's why I exercise a lot -- is a cheetah."
But it's not all fun and games with this thirteen-year-old. It's his dream to one day attend Yale University. His key to getting there? A supportive, permanent family, as he tells Gloria Hochman from the National Adoption Center.
(Hochman:) "What do you think a family would get from you? What could you give to a family?"
(Jamie:) "Everything I've got."
Generosity comes naturally to Jamie, according to his social worker, Dulce Pedro-Meadows.
"I think the most admirable thing about Jamie is just his positive attitude," she says. "He always really tries to put a positive spin on things and look at the bright side, and it's a pretty remarkable thing for a 13-year-old to have the attitude he does."
