Wednesday's Child: Ben
By Larry Kane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- "Then you make a crease and fold it down..."
Ben is carefully folding a piece of paper, shaping it into an origami crane. He learned the ancient art through books and the Internet, and says he hopes to perfect it some day.
"Some of the pieces I've seen are like life-size human beings from Lord of the Rings, with the beard details, the armor, the scales on the armor, the sword, the arms -- everything," he says.
You can see Ben's patience and dedication as he works. He seems more like a craftsman than a fourteen-year-old.
But don't be fooled: he still needs a loving, permanent family.
"A nice, loving family," he wishes for, plus, "Pets -- I love pets. Friendly people. I like having foster siblings; I get along well with them most of the time."
