WEATHER: Sunny And Warm For Election Day
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The day's are getting shorter and the leaves beginning to fall...but don't tell mother nature that!
It started off on the chilly side this morning, but a nice rebound is already underway. Today is expected to be the first in a string of consecutive 70°+ days in Philadelphia. To be able to say that in October is certainly nice. To say it in November? That's downright fantastic!
Highs will range from 10-15 degrees above average through the end of the week. High pressure is building in on Tuesday, which means an 'A+' day for the Delaware Valley. Lot's of sunshine, low wind, warm temps -- sounds more like late September. But it is indeed the first week of November, I can assure you that.
And don't forget, today is Election Day. So get out and vote; there's no excuse not to!
