Weather Blog: Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After severe thunderstorms impacted the Delaware Valley last Sunday and again this past Wednesday, the threat for severe weather returns this weekend. Much of the area, including Center City Philadelphia, is under a 'Slight Risk' for severe weather on Saturday.
The thunderstorm activity will be more scattered than widespread yet storms that do develop could quickly become strong to severe. The main threat will be damaging winds.
Not expecting a wash out, but storms may form locally as early as midday with storms popping up across the area into the evening hours.
Be sure to keep yourself aware of the changing weather situation on Saturday, especially if you have outdoor plans.
